Basic Polymer Clay Class

Our New Orleans Bead Society - Westbank meeting will be held on March 27, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Love Lutheran Church.

When the class is finished, you will walk away with a pretty, new focal bead made out of polymer clay. Here are the details:

What: Polymer Clay 101 with Jambalaya
When: March 27, 2010, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Where: Love Lutheran Church
3730 MacArthur
New Orleans (Algiers)

This will be an introduction to the basics of polymer clay. We'll cover conditioning, shaping and stamping into clay to form "faux cabochons" that can be used with beading and bead embroidery. Note: There is a problem with uploading sample pictures. These will be posted as soon as I can figure out what the problem is.

If you're not sure you want to get into another new hobby, come anyway, all materials will be supplied, so you can see if you like it before investing in tools and supplies.

If you already own a pasta machine which will never be used for food again, please bring it to class.Due to time constraints, tools available, and materials provided, space must be reserved in advance.

Class fee $16.00 which includes all materials for this project.

If anyone has any questions or needs directions, please contact Jean at jbperret@aol.com. To reserve your space for the project, please e-mail Vicki at jambalayarubber@hotmail.com.

Hope to see y'all there!

Jean
